FAQ

What are ballet boxes used for?

We created the ballet boxes as an easy and organised way for dancers to store their hair accessories such as bobby pins and bun nets.

Are ballet boxes only for dancers?

No, our products are made for anyone whether you are a gymnast, a netballer or someone who just wants to keep their hair accessories organised our ballet boxes are perfect for you.

How did Ballet Boxes start?

Our Founder Elise is a dancer herself at a local studio in Hobart. Most days she catches the bus from school to dance with her friends. When she had ballet she would use a hair box with all her bun pins etc in it to do her hair on the bus ready for class. When Elise was stuck in Lockdown at the start of 2022 she was online shopping for a new hair box but just couldn't find what she was looking for so she designed a box that was exactly what she wanted. Later the same year she then turned this idea into ballet boxes as we know them now.

What is the RMHC's dance for sick kids?

Dance for sick kids is a charity where participants dance for 7 days to fundraise for Ronald Mcdonald's house.

Located close to most major children's hospitals, Ronald McDonald House provides a warm, safe, home-away-from-home when seriously ill or injured children require specialist care and treatment far from their home towns in regional and rural Australia.

We will donate 20% of our profit to this organisation to help those in need.
